King Kamehameha Day Parade 2012

The King Kamehameha Day Parade took place in Kailua Village with lots of horses and some hula floats. There were no offerings at the Hulihe'e Palace this year, but still rather colorful. Skylark was there, and Leabert Lindsey was the Grand Marshal.

Keauhou Bon Dance 2012

The Bon Dance season got off to a good start at the Keauhou Shopping Center, complete with Taiko drumming by both the Kona Hongwanji Taiko and the Kona Daifukuji Taiko groups. A group of dancers came over from Hilo to add to the mix.
