Chef Curtis and his family at U Top It breakfast and lunch cafe will close its doors after today. A long-time sentimental favorite among the people-in-the-know behind Lava Java in the Alii Sunset Plaza in Kailua-Kona, Hawaii, was noted for its omelets and Pan Crepes. There was some hoping that they will find another location to put the painted mural in and to continue operation. We shall see.

Keep hoping I'll read somewhere that U-top-It reopened but so far, no such luck. By far one of my favorite places to eat
Wow I'm sad! Going to be in Kona and U top is my favorite! Chef Curtis let us know if you are going to be moving and reopening. Have been going there for years. May God Bless you and your family. Kathy and Jerry
