Sahra Indio Live at Kanaka Kava Bar 2-19-11

The amazingly talented reggae artist Sahra Indio was live at the Kanaka Kava Bar at Coconut Grove in Kailua-Kona, Hawaii along with Tuff Lion, who was celebrating his birthday last Saturday.

Searching For Buddha in Hawaii

Two of the Buddha statues that can be seen in the Daifukuji Soto Mission in Honalo, Hawai'i, under the direction of Rev. Jiko Nakade.
The standing Buddha is Kannon Bodhisattva of "Great Compassion" was carved in Japan by master sculptor Sosaku Miki and enshrined in 1937.
The seated one is Shakyamuni Buddha, the "Historical Buddha" and was enshrined in 1921.
