Spent a day going over to the other side of the island, to Hilo, to relax in a different atmosphere. The rain was over for the day, big puffy clouds, blue skies, lush greenery.... Started at the Farmer's Market and downtown. Then the afternoon at the zoo just outside of Hilo, and the early evening at the UH Hilo library and student center.
We took the Saddle Road, which has been repaved for much of the stretch.
