Aunty Genoa Keawe was considered a living legend of Hawaiian falsetto music, and was performing right up to just recently. A few of these images were taken when she opened the Moku O Keawe hula festival here on The Big Island of Hawai'i.
She was always a nice person to be around, and a treat to see her perform.
She was 89 years old.
